Who am I?
A Popular Vocal Coach
In 2001, I had the opportunity to sing as session singer on a funky house track for Multiply records. The track, once released was added to 7 compilation albums and was played regularly on radio 1. I was still young at 19 years and quite overwhelmed by the unexpected success.
I decided to take a step back & come away from the studio environment and concentrate on gaining live performance experience. As I grew older the love for singing with bands was where my heart lay. After many years of gigging I decided to embark on a teaching career where I could pass on my acquired skills. However, through teaching I recognised an important aspect, which is to support students through the challenges that arise along the way, at any level of singing and performing. I see my role as a teacher/mentor to be supportive, encouraging & knowledgable.
In 2008, I was trained by the original co-founder of Vocademy (Lucider Bristow) who I also enjoyed 2 years of performing with. In 2018, I trained in sound and voice therapy and hold two diplomas working in 1-2-1's and groups.
I have a gentle approach that produces great results and believe that learning should be fun and pressure-free. To find out more about my approach, the types of classes I offer or my background, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to give you more information.
